XCASHEW is Tanzania's cashewnut trade operating system — a digital platform connecting exporters, buyers, farmer unions, transporters, and government agencies on a single platform. It includes a marketplace, AI matching engine, digital contracts, port tracking, and trade intelligence tools.

XCASHEW is open to: cashewnut exporters and processors; international and local buyers; farmer cooperatives and unions; transporters and logistics companies; port agents and clearing agents. Register at xcashew.com/register to get started.

Basic registration and browsing is free. Listing products, posting buyer requirements, and accessing the marketplace is available on our free tier. Advanced features including AI matching, digital contracts, and port tools may require a subscription. Contact us for current pricing.

XCASHEW is primarily focused on Tanzania but also covers Mozambique, Ivory Coast, and other East/West African cashew-producing countries. Buyers from all countries can register and trade on the platform.

Register as an Exporter, go to your Exporter Panel, click "My Products" → "Add Product". Fill in grade, quantity, price per kg, origin, certifications and photos. Your listing will be reviewed and published within 24 hours.

When a buyer posts a requirement (grade, volume, price range, delivery terms), our AI engine scans active listings and exporter profiles to find the best matches based on compatibility score. Both parties are notified and can accept or decline the match.

Yes. An AI match opens a conversation channel between buyer and seller. You can negotiate terms, request samples, and agree on final pricing before generating a digital contract.

The marketplace lists: Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN), and processed kernels W180, W210, W240, W320, W450, W500, LWP, SWP, and various pieces grades. Organic certified product is also available from select exporters.

Once an order is confirmed, you can track its status in your dashboard under Orders. Exporters update shipment milestones (processing, loading, customs clearance, departed port, in transit, delivered). You'll receive notifications at each stage.

XCASHEW supports: international bank wire transfer (SWIFT/IBAN); Flutterwave (credit/debit card, mobile money across Africa); Stripe (card payments for international buyers); and offline/document payment with manual verification by XCASHEW admin.

Yes. All payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (Stripe, Flutterwave). XCASHEW never stores full card numbers. All transactions are encrypted in transit via TLS.

Payment release depends on the contract terms agreed between buyer and seller. Common structures include: advance payment at contract signing; payment against bill of lading; or letter of credit. XCASHEW's payment milestones track agreed payment schedules.

When a buyer and seller agree on terms, a contract is generated from your agreed parameters (product, quantity, price, delivery terms, payment schedule). Both parties review and sign digitally. A legally formatted PDF is generated and stored for both parties.

E-signatures on XCASHEW contracts are designed to be commercially enforceable. However, for very large transactions (typically $100,000+), we recommend supplementing with a traditional wet-ink contract reviewed by local legal counsel. Laws on e-signatures vary by jurisdiction.

Signed contracts are stored for a minimum of 10 years in encrypted cloud storage. Both parties can download their PDF copy at any time from their dashboard.

XCASHEW tracks vessel movements and schedules for: Dar es Salaam Port (Tanzania), Mtwara Port (Tanzania), Zanzibar Port, Tanga Port, and key transit ports including Mombasa (Kenya) and Beira (Mozambique).

Vessel positions are sourced from AIS (Automatic Identification System) data via our integration with MarineTraffic. Live positions update approximately every 10 minutes for vessels in AIS coverage areas. Estimated arrival times are calculated from current speed and position.

Port alerts notify you of events affecting cargo at tracked ports — including customs delays, weather closures, berth maintenance, congestion notices, and emergency announcements. Alerts are published by our operations team based on official TPA and port authority communications.

Yes. In the Port section, select a vessel or schedule and click "Download PDF" to get a formatted schedule suitable for sharing with your logistics team or freight forwarder.

Go to xcashew.com/register. Select your role (Exporter, Buyer), fill in your details, verify your email, and complete your profile. Exporters require business verification (registration certificate or equivalent) before listings are published.

On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your registered email. You'll receive a reset link within 5 minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

After registration, go to your profile settings and upload your business registration certificate and trade licence. Our team verifies documents within 1–2 business days. Verified accounts receive a checkmark badge and can publish listings.
